The Organizing Committee invites researchers,
technicians and professionals of the Ornamental & Horticulture field to
participate and present their communications at the I Simposio Iberoamericano -
IV Jornadas Ibéricas de Horticultura Ornamental (I Ibero-American
Symposium - IV Iberian conferences of Ornamental Horticulture) which will be
held in Pontevedra (Spain) from 14 to 18 October, 2008. This event is included
within the annual activities of the Sociedad Española de Ciencias
Hortícolas (Spanish Society of Horticultural Sciences), organized by the
Estación Fitopatolóxica do Areeiro and with the participation of
the Spanish Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) and the University of
Santiago as collaborating entities.
Students,
mainly postgraduate and master's degree students, are also invited to
participate in the Symposium and in the Conferences, with important fee
reductions.
The event aims to be a meeting
place for scientific, technicians and professionals of the field, where the
current work lines are presented, promoting at the same time collaboration
among research centres and companies.
