Hongos lignícolas identificados en las denominaciones de origen vitícolas gallegas

ABSTRACT: At present there is controversy regarding the fungal species involved in wood decay, their ways of entry and the role they play on the development of the disease. Since the Estación Fitopatolóxica do Areeiro received samples from adult plants and new grapevines, showing symptoms of wood decay, an exhaustive survey was carried out in all Galician designations of origin ( Monterrei, Valdeorras, Ribeira Sacra , Rías Baixas and Ribeiro). The number of vineyards surveyed was 290. Wood collected was cross and longitudinal sectioned, with different types of necroses independently isolated in AMS media at 24 -27 ºC for mycelia growth. Then the corresponding subcultures were carried out and were grown under alternative cycles of 12 hours in the dark and 12 hours in the light + near UV, to be subsequently identified.
