ABSTRACT:      In outdoor chrysanthemum plantations in Galicia, leaf spots with 2-3 cm in diameter surrounded by a yellow diffused line of 2-3 mm in diameter which were present in every leaf. In lower leaves that converge and dry up completely, which reduce their economic and aesthetic value. After performing several analysis, Pseudomonas syringae was detected, although symptoms were firstly attributed to a fungus Alternaria spp, Phyllosticta spp, Septoria spp). The disease is more frequent in spring and autumn, being favoured by humid conditions and high temperatures, which were recorded during these seasons along the present year. All these factors have caused important losses in chrysanthemum.
