ABSTRACT:      Blackberry culture in small areas seems to be a beneficial complement for growers, because it is easy to monitor, profitable and can adapt to different environmental conditions. However, it is better to determine the environmental and soil conditions of the area before planting, given the number of varieties available in the market, with different characteristics. It is also important to determine the adaptability in specific representative locations, and the seasonal yield curve, the highest yields, the sensorial characteristics of the fruit and the age of the plant, in order to plan harvest, preservation conditions, and marketability. In the present work we determine all previous parameters in four blackberry varieties highly valued in the market.
