ABSTRACT: As follows the most important incidences of
virus analysis performed in the Estación Fitopatolóxica do
Areeiro during 2004 will be described: - TSWV detection in a tomato
variety resistant, from a Cooperative in Pontevedra. This virus is having the
most incidence in Galicia, being positive a 15% of the samples analyzed. -
Regarding PepMV its incidence is also very significant, since 10% of the
samples analyzed were positive. - So far, TYLCV was not detected in our
laboratory. - Tomato plants morphologically
showing symptoms of TICV and ToCV by PCR techniques were negative. - 11
potato plots were analyzed so as to certificate them as being virus free.
Severe viruses were analyzed (PVY and PLRV). We did not have the category of
every plot, so we do not know the ranges established for every
plot.
