ABSTRACT: In 2003 a new psyllid Ctenarytaina spatulata Taylor is detected in two eucalyptus stands in Pontevedra province. As compared to Ctenarytaina spatulata, this insect only develops on new leaves that have turned into filodia. In the present work, the main morphological characteristics of the species are described, as well as the studies developed to know its life cycle in our region.
