ABSTRACT: In the last years, there has been an increasing interest for leisure green spaces, given to the population higher standard of living. However, the absence of an adequate management of the trees could lead to an inadequate condition of the plants, thus affecting the security of the users. In the present work the trees growing in Soutomaior Castle (Pontevedra) were analyzed, from the phytosanitary and mechanical point of view using an impulse tomography and a GPR technology device. Results showed that the condition of the trees studied was good from the point of view of their potential hazard.
