Camellia, the flower of Galicia, its diversity

SUMMARY: There is no doubt that the camellia is a species that has found its homeland in Galicia, in fact Camilo Jose Cela on the occasion of the last Jacobean year of the second millennium wrote: "…came from India, China and Japan, but found comfortable among us and became the FLOWER OF GALICIA, my country …" and even commented a particular quality that is characteristic of our country, that "… in Galicia there are cities that have camellias everywhere in the streets, as in other places there are acacias and plane and palm trees. It is very beautiful to be represented by the camellia”.
